Sections: more than a card
Projects, repos, your server, music, videos, ranks and more, under your card.
Adding one
In the Studio, open sections (or press Ctrl+K and type section). Add a section, fill it in and go live. Drag them into the order you want. Each kind goes on once:
- about: a few lines and some quick facts.
- work: what you made, the one you are proudest of up top.
- code: your GitHub repos with live stars.
- discord: your Discord server with live member counts.
- local: your clock, so nobody calls at 3 am.
- music: songs, albums or playlists, played right on the page.
- video: YouTube videos, played right on the page.
- pics: pictures, opened big with a tap.
- story: what happened when, in order.
- ranked: game ranks the team checked by hand.
- settings: sens, DPI, eDPI and your crosshair.
- gear: your rig and your gear, part by part.
- verified: your verified handles, the flex, in a section of their own.
- games: the games you play, by their covers.
- q&a: questions people ask you, and your answers.
- list: a numbered list: top picks, trackers, anything.
Sections are free. Plus is for the flashy looks around them.
The ones that fill themselves in
Repos, your server, Spotify and YouTube come in live: stars, member counts, covers and titles. If one can't show right now (GitHub says no, an invite ran out), it steps off your page until it can, and the Studio tells you why.
A Spotify or YouTube player only loads when someone taps play.
How they look
Next to the page style: Panels or Clear (in your card's surface, or straight on your world), and how they come in as people scroll: Drift, Fade, Cut.
A link to one section
alias.boo/you#projects opens your page right at it (any kind works: #about, #ranks...). On a computer, hover a section's title and press #. On a phone, long press the title. Either copies the link.
