Answers about alias: your page, handles, Plus and payments, the app and the Discord.

getting started

Getting in, your handle, the first five minutes.

What alias is: A free app that makes names and checks them, and a page that flexes the ones you own.
Getting in during early access: Invite links, the waitlist, and how many people one invite brings.
Claiming your alias.boo handle: The rules for alias.boo/yourname, and why some names are held back.

Backgrounds, effects, links, badges.

Making your page look like you: Every look option in the Studio, and what is free versus Plus.
Links and their icons: Up to 50 links with headings between them, one featured, icons that find themselves, and your links brought over from another link page.
Badges, and how to earn them: Every badge, the seasonal drops, and hiding the ones you do not want shown.
Sections: more than a card: Projects, repos, your server, music, videos, ranks and more, under your card.
Page styles: how your page lays out: Stack, Tabs, Portfolio, Bento, Reel. Your sections, laid out your way.
Templates: wear a look, or put yours up: Looks made by members. Try one on your own page, keep the parts you like, or share yours.
Link styles and the glow: 12 ways to show your links, each one lit in its own brand color.

Prove what you hold. Tiers and worth.

Verifying a handle you own: Discord by sign in, most others with a code in your bio, the rest by a person.
Rarity tiers and the worth number: Common to Mythic, a score out of 100, and an estimate that is just for fun.
Extra handles: Plus adds 1 extra handle on top of your main one, 2 alias.boo handles in all.
Game ranks, checked by the team: Put your rank on your page. A person on the team checks it first.

bunq.me, crypto, gifts, wrong amounts.

What Plus gets you: One payment, €4.99. Yours to keep.
Paying with bunq.me: Card, iDEAL, Apple Pay or bank. A screenshot, then the team confirms.
Paying with crypto: Pick a coin and a network, send the exact amount, it confirms on its own.
I sent the wrong amount (or too late): Underpaid, overpaid, late, or before the order existed. What happens next.
Gifting Plus: Buy Plus for someone else. They get it, plus a badge that says who from.

Sizes, types, what Plus raises.

A track on your page, lyrics in sync.

Generate, check 37 platforms, sync.

Getting the app and signing in: Free on Windows. Sign in once and your handles sync to your page.
Sending handles from the app to your page: My handles in the app shows up in your vault, ready to verify.

Linking, live status, tickets, voice.

Linking Discord and live status: Your status, game and music live on your page once you switch it on, and your avatar decoration.
Opening a ticket: Support, Plus and payments, report a member, bug report.
Join To Create voice channels: Your own voice channel, on demand, with a control panel.
Bot commands: Everything the alias bot can do in the server.

Export, delete, sessions and devices.

Exporting your data: Everything alias has on you, in one file.
Deleting your account: Gone for good, and how long backups take to roll off.
Sessions and signed in devices: Where you are signed in, and kicking a device out.

When something looks off.

My Discord status is not on my page: Run down this list, it is almost always one of these.
My payment is not showing up: Crypto not detected, or a bunq.me order still waiting.
What the app check results mean: Available, taken, invalid, manual, unknown. And why checks are paced.
A page says it broke: What that screen means and what to do.
