Verifying a handle you own
Discord by sign in, most others with a code in your bio, the rest by a person.
Three ways
- Discord: signing in with Discord proves it.
- Bio code on 13 platforms (GitHub, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon, Lichess, Twitch, Roblox, Steam, Telegram, YouTube, SoundCloud, Tumblr and Kick).
- Everything else: a real person on the team takes a look.
Doing the bio code
- Studio, handles, add the handle.
- Copy the one time code it gives you.
- Put it anywhere in your bio on that platform and save.
- Press check. Once it says verified, delete the code from your bio.
Careful: Faking a verification, or keeping a code in a bio you do not own, gets the handle removed and can get your account removed too.
What the states mean
Pending: waiting for the code. Review: a person will look. Verified: it shows on your page. Rejected: it couldn't be proven.
