the app

A free Windows app that makes usernames with meaning and checks them on 37 platforms at once, saying how sure each answer is.

The Windows build is coming. alias.boo/app gets the download the moment it's up, and the alias Discord (alias.boo/discord) hears first.

what it does

• Names with meaning: Vowel swaps, look-alike letters, roots from 12 languages, word collisions. Each says what it decodes to.
• 37 platforms, one check: Instagram to PSN, each with its own rules, every free says how sure it is.
• Never blocked: Checks are spaced out per platform and cached, so nothing gets asked twice.
• Console checks: Sign in to PlayStation, Xbox and Epic once, and their names get checked for real.
• The vault: Keep the handles you own in the app. They sync to your page to be verified.
• Free, for good: The app costs nothing and asks for nothing. Windows now.
